Wireless Network card does not support WPA
What do I do if I don’t see WPA listed as authentication type or my wireless card does not support WPA.
Your wireless card or wireless device must support WPA or WPA2 to be allowed on the secure wireless network.
All new wireless cards support these technologies and most older cards do as well. If you follow the instructions to setup the secure wireless network and do not see WPA listed as an authentication type then you can check with your computer manufacturer to see if a software update or driver is available.
If your device manufacturer does not have a software update to enable WPA mode then you may be able to buy a new wireless card. For laptops, wireless PC cards are available for $20 to $40.
