Network Accounts
All Truman faculty, staff and students are provided with a variety of IT services; including network accounts, web space, email accounts etc.
In order to receive Truman IT services you must be a currently enrolled student, currently employed faculty or staff, or be Truman emeritus.
Account Creation
- For students, most IT accounts and services are automatically created when you enroll for classes.
- For faculty and staff, IT accounts and services are created when an ITS ID request form is submitted to the ITS HelpDesk. To go to the ITS forms web page click here.
Account Termination
- For students, your Truman IT accounts expire four months after the semester in which you were last enrolled. For example, if you were last enrolled for Spring 2003 classes then your accounts would expire in September 2003.
- For faculty and staff, your Truman IT accounts expire when ITS is notified by the Truman Human Resources department to do so.
Password Management
- The Truman Information Technology Advisory Committee (ITAC) has approved a policy of password management/password resets that all network account holders are expected to adhere to.
