09/30/2003 | Tonight (09/18/2003), ITS will be distributing a Microsoft security patch to protect against the most recently announced vulnerability in Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, and NT4. ITS will distribute this patch automatically using our Systems Management Server. Any computers that are left on this evening will apply the security patch at 12:01 AM. Computers that do not receive the patch (because they are powered off or not connected to the campus network) will receive the patch the next time that they are powerd on and/or connected.
