06/16/2005 UPDATE: The cause of the issue with screen resolution changes was from a Dell video driver that was listed in Windows Automatic Update as 'critiical', causing systems to update the video driver automatically. Microsoft corrected their mistake the same day taking the driver out of 'critical' status. This issue should now be resolved.
-------
The are a number of reports that users screen resolution's have changed to their highest settings without the user changing it. We are currently looking into the issue. The user can change the setting back to their desired setting.

06/01/2005 Please be aware that following the upgrade of TruView this past Thursday, you may have to re-configure your pop-up blocker to allow the log-in page to load. In general this means that IF you receive a pop-up error page, you will need to allow pop-ups for the TruView website and then click the "continue" button at the bottom of the pop-up error page. Once you have successfully configured your pop-up blocker, the log-in page will load normally.

There are numerous pop-up blockers on the market - your browser (Firefox or IE) may have built-in pop-up blocking; you may have installed special tools, such as the Google or Yahoo toolbar, that include blocking technology; some virus protection packages, such as Norton include pop-up blocking tools. Please refer to the documentation for the product/s you have installed for information on how to allow pop-ups on individual sites.

If you continue to have problems, please contact the ITS Help Desk at x4544 or helpdesk@truman.edu Please be aware that the ITS Help Desk will be closed over the holiday weekend.

05/19/2005 The third Thursday evening of every month is an ITS maintenance window. Tonight from 6 - 6:30 PM the Truman Internet connection will be down to allow MOREnet to perform maintenance on MOREnet equipment located at our site. Internet access is scheduled to be restored to Truman no later than 6:30 PM.
05/18/2005 There may be brief network outages this afternoon due to electrical outages on campus due to the storm. We are monitoring the network and working to correct any outages as soon as possible.
