UPDATE: Blackboard maintenance is complete. All Blackboard services are available. ---- Blackboard maintenance is scheduled to begin at 8am on Thursday, December 22nd, to complete a required update. All Blackboard services will be unavailable during this upgrade. For planning purposes, please plan for two hours of downtime. If all goes well is should not take that long.

*FINAL UPDATE* As of 1:00 am today, ITS has completed the migration of the Truman File Server. All network drives (Student Y Drives, FAC/STAFF W Drives, etc) have been migrated to the new server, and are online and accessible. The only noticable change might be a slightly longer time accessing a network drive for the first time. This is only for the first time, and all drives should open as normal afterwards. If you have any other issues with accessing your network drives, please contact the IT Service Center at 660-785-4544, and they will be able to assist you. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.
*IMPORTANT UPDATE* - As part of the process for migrating the Truman Fileserver, some of the drives (Student Y Drives, FAC/STAFF W Drives, etc) may become online. ITS wants to be clear that if this occurs, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ACCESS THEM! Any attempt to access these network drives may interfere with the migration process, and will likely result in lost data. ITS will update everyone when the migration has been completed, and you can resume accessing your drives. We apologize for any confusion, and thank you for your patience.
Beginning at 8:00 am December 27th, the Truman Network File Server will be inaccessible while we migrate the files to a new server. This will affect all network folders, including faculty, staff, and students, such as the W and Y drives. The maintenance should be completed by 5:00 pm on Dec 29th. |

Banner Upgrade UPDATE: Upgrade is complete and all services are now available ------- The Banner system is scheduled for a major upgrade on Sunday, December 11th, in order to applied end of year regulatory updates. Banner and all Banner integrated, dependent services including the Banner links in TruView and Truman Portal will be unavailable starting at 4am Sunday morning, December 11th, and will remain down until the completion of the upgrade. If all goes well, we expect to have Banner services restored by approximately 9:00am. A Service Note will be posted to announce services are available upon completion of the upgrade. Note: Blackboard services will not be impacted by the Banner upgrade and will be available as usual.

We've resolved the issues with the EMS and emspro systems and all services should be available. ---- We are currently experiencing issues with the EMS and emspro room reservation and room management systems. We are still researching to identified the source of the issue. We will provide an update when we have more information. |

AmerenUE is currently repairing an issue that is affecting the three-phase power in the Student Union Building, Pickler Memorial Library, the Rec Center, and Centennial Hall. Some power and network connectivity (including Polycom phones) will be affected while they complete repairs. |

Update: The server mail queue is being processed and delivering mail now. It will take a while to clear all the queued messages. We will update this again when all mail has been processed from the queue. The server that processes incoming mail to Truman from off-campus is not delivering email to users. it is being queued for delivery when the issue is corrected. We are working with the vendor to correct this issue. |

****UPDATE**** - Malwarebytes has stated this issue is resolved as of 11:15 am. Malwarebytes is currently blocking access to Google services to all of their subscribers. Systems that have Malwarebytes installed will be unable to access these resources until Malwarebytes determines there isn't a security risk. |

ITS was made aware of an issue with the https://secure.truman.edu/its-s/printaccount website, which is used for students to check their print account balance, add money to thier print account, and run a print report of their print activity. Currently this site is displaying the "Print Balance" of a student's account as "Unknown". This is not accurate, as all students should have money in their print account at the start of the Fall Semester. And, adding money to your account will not change the results. ITS recommends trying to print first before adding money. If you cannot print, and are not sure if you have money in your student print account, contact the IT Service Center, located on the 2nd floor of the Pickler Memorial Library, at 660-785-7401. Blackboard maintenance is complete and services are now available. ------- On Thursday, August 11, we will be completing a critical maintenance update to the Blackboard system. Blackboard maintenance is scheduled to begin following the normal 4am-5am daily backups. It is anticipated that all Blackboard services will be restored by 8:00am. A Service Note will be sent out with updates and/or when the upgrade is complete. |

At 2:00 PM today, 8/10/2022, ITS will be performing maintenance on the Student Virtual Desktop systems to prepare for the upcoming Fall Semester. During this time, the Student Virtual Desktops, or certain applications on them, may be unavailable. ITS anticipates that this work will be completed in 1 hour or less, but could extend longer if issues are encountered. An update will be posted once services are fully online and available again. The virtual desktop and Data Science environments have been restored. At approximately 3:00 PM yesterday, (August 1. 2022) ITS was made aware of an issue with the VMWare Virtual Desktop environment that affects both Student and Datascience Virtual Desktops. Currently, these desktops are partially down, and performance has been affected. ITS is currently working on the issue, with no estimated time until full resolution. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience. |

Maintenance is complete and Banner and DegreeWork services are now available. ------ We will be completing maintenance on the infrastructure that hosts Banner and DegreeWorks. The maintenance will require a service outage for these systems.
All Banner and DegreeWorks environments and integrated, dependent services including the Banner links (Tools) in TruView will be unavailable starting at 4am on Sunday, July 31st, to complete an infrastructure upgrade to the storage upon which it operates. Please plan for Banner services to be unavailable until at least early afternoon.
A Service Note will be posted when the services have been restored.
Note: Blackboard services will not be impacted by the Banner upgrade and will be available as usual. |

Banner Admin Pages stopped allowing new connections. This stopped all new logins to Banner Admin Pages. The Admin Pages were restarted to clear the connection pool. Services to Banner Admin Pages are now available. |
