07/15/2006 | **Update** The Network Applications Server (SS1) has been migrated to a new server. The new server has been renamed to keep the same name of SS1. All applications are functioning properly except ACL (due to hardware license dongle issue) and MikTex Help files are unavailable. We will investigate the issues further and resolve them as soon as possible. Please contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@truman.edu or 785-4544 to report any other Network Application issues.
The Network Applications Server (SS1) will be upgraded to a new server on Friday, July 14th from 5:30PM to 7:30PM. During the upgrade, applications running from the S: or X: drive will be unavailable to insure that all data is copied to the new server. This includes the following network applications: SPSS, Peachtree Accounting, ACL, Crystal Ball, AICPA, MikTex, SIGI and others. To insure a smooth transition, this new server will also be named SS1. For this reason, we do not expect any action to be required by our customers. However, in some cases, users may need to reboot their computers to have the S: or X: drive mapped to the new server. |
