| 12/11/2007 | Tonight, shortly after 9:00PM, a power outage affected areas of campus including Violette Hall, Magruder Hall, Baldwin Hall, Student Union, Dobson Hall, Ryle Hall and Grim Hall. Power has now been restored and all areas should be functioning normally. |
| 12/11/2007 | We experienced problems with the wireless computer network today, mainly after the electrical brown-out that occured this early this afternoon.
We've made some temporary wirless configuration changes and have restored full wireless network services. We are continuing to check equipment for damage and / or malfunctions. |
| 12/05/2007 | Truview Banner links and Banner Self Services are all back up. We encounted a corrupted file resulting from some updates we were making with our test channels environment. The corrupted file was rebuilt and everything is functioning again. |

| 11/26/2007 | The administrative web server, Silver, was unavailable from approximately 4:00 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. on 11/26/2007. IT Services was attempting to fix a problem with slow responses on www.truman.edu when the whole server became unresponsive, requiring a restart. All services should be restored. |
| 11/26/2007 | Network services are currently unavailable in Delaney-Baldwin due to an equipment failure. We are investigating options for restoring services. |
| 11/16/2007 | There was a brief web outage affecting all sites on the main administrative web server at about 10:45 a.m. on 11/16/2007. This was caused by maintenance one particular website which affected all sites on the server. Service was quickly restored. |
| 11/15/2007 | Last night Microsoft released several system patches. Two servers did not install these patches cleanly and their IT services "hung". The servers were manually restarted this morning and all IT services are up. |
| 11/16/2007 | The license manager for i2 Analyst's Notebook will be installed onto SS1 11/16/2007 at 18:00. This process should take less than 30 minutes. Access to the S: and X: drives, and the license managers for SPSS, Cyrstal Ball, MicroFocus .Net Express, and ArcGIS will be affected during this downtime. |

A vendor from St. Louis will be onsite to replace a faulty part, so this maintenance must be done during the day and cannot be done during our regular maintenance window. We will try to keep the amount of downtime as low as possible. All mail sent during this time will be delivered once the server is back up. Thank you for your understanding and patience. |

| 11/08/2007 | At ~ midnight last night the student print server experienced a memory error and printing services stopped. ITS was notified and a system restart cleared the error and printing services resumed. Diagnostics will scheduled to investigate the memory error. |

| 11/03/2007 | The Exchange email server maintenance was successfully completed. Full service was restored at approximately 9:45 p.m. |
| 11/05/2007 | Last Fridays nights IT maintenance was on the Exchange email system. During the maintenance some Exchange services were unavailable. If you had problems sending email and had email returned please send it again. |
| 10/31/2007 | Network services have been restored in Barnett Hall. The problem was caused by an electrical problem which has been corrected. |
| 10/23/2007 | We need to perform maintenance on the network file server. The work is scheduled for 1:30 AM tonight. Network drives will be unavailable during this period. Network services will be restored as soon as possible. |
| 10/30/2007 | During the evening of Tuesday 10/30/2007 ITS will be activating the new Barracuda Spam firewall. This new device will replace the Sophos PureMessage product previously in place for spam filtering. This change will impact all email accounts at Truman.

| 10/09/2007 | The processing of email from the Internet was experiencing delays earlier this afternoon. We have identified and corrected the problem. Email is processing normally now. |
| 10/02/2007 | Network Services will be unavailable in Barnett Hall for the next several hours due to an major electrical service outage. When electrical service is restored to Barnett Hall then network services will also be available. |
