| 07/22/2011 | We are experiencing intermittent network outages in Pershing and Health Science buildings. The failing equipment has been identified and replacement components are en route. We have taken all possible steps to maintain network services but services will be intermittent until the replacement parts arrive. We apologize for the difficulty. |
| 07/18/2011 | As of 10:15 am today, the issue with network connectivity for Pershing Building and Health Sciences has been restored. ITS Technicians replaced the defective component and restored connectivity. | 07/18/2011 | At approximately 9:05 am this morning, the Computer Lab Virtual Desktops were unavailable due to an issue with a network Server providing services for the Student Labs. This outage lasted approximately 5 minutes and has been resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience. |
| 07/18/2011 | As of 4:10 am this morning, there is an network outage affecting Pershing Building and Heath Sciences. All local and Internet based network connectivity is down Technicians are working on the issue and there is and no ETA for resolution. | 07/15/2011 | As of 10:00 PM, all maintenance on the Computer Lab Virtual Desktops has been completed. We apologize again for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience |
| 07/15/2011 | On Friday, July 15th @ 9:00 PM, all Computer Lab desktops will be offline to allow for maintenance. This maintenance should take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. Once done, all systems will again be available. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience. |
| 06/28/2011 | Several IT Services including TruView, SQL Server, Virtual Desktops and Faculty/Staff email were briefly unavailable due to power issues in the University datacenter. Services have now been restored. |
| 06/28/2011 | The University internet connection through MORENet was restored at 2:15PM. The MORENet circuit relies on a local office which is without power and running on an emergency power generator. The generator failed but has now been repaired. Thank you for your patience. |
| 06/26/2011 | Blackboard had a performance issue which required a system and database restart to resolve. The initial performance error occurred just before 9:00pm. Services were restarted at 10:30pm and all services were restored by 10:45pm. |
| 06/23/2011 | This Thursday (June 23rd), during the regularly scheduled ITS maintenance window, maintenance will be performed on the University internet connection. Maintenance will begin at 8:00PM and will be completed by 8:15PM. During this time the internet connection will not be available. Thank you for your patience. |
| 06/21/2011 | On Tuesday June 21st telephone services are scheduled to be unavailable in the Pershing and Health Sciences buildings from 7 AM until 5 PM. The telephone system for the building will be undergoing required maintenance in order to support the new offices and building renovations.
During this time personnel in the affected buildings will not be able to make or receive telephone calls. Building alarms and elevator emergency phones will also be unavailable (we have coordinated with Campus Planning, DPS and Physical Plant). Network services will not be affected, the computer network will be up. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. |

Missouri Network Alliance technicians will be performing emergency maintenance on equipment in the Kansas City area Wednesday, June 15th , between 12:01 a.m. and 6a.m. Outage is expected to last up to 3 hours. During this time the University internet connection may be unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your patience. |

Missouri Network Alliance technicians will be performing maintenance on equipment in the Kansas City area Thursday, June 16th , between 12:01 a.m. and 3a.m. A 15 minutes outage is expected during this maintenance window. During this time the University internet connection may be unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your patience. |

| 05/27/2011 | Faculty/staff printing services were unavailable briefly for a server restart needed to get Banner printing services restarted. Banner printing services failed trying to communication with the main faculty/staff printing services server.
All Faculty/staff printing services including Banner printing have been restored. |
| 05/27/2011 | Banner Self-Service services through the TruView Banner links were unavailable this morning following maintenance on the server last evening. The two servers were experiencing communication issues with each other. Both TruView and the Banner Self-Service server were restarted and all services are now available. |
| 05/27/2011 | UPDATE - System Maintenance has been completed. Banner/TruView integration may have an active issue that will be resolved in the morning. All other services are online and functioning. |
| 05/25/2011 | Late Friday afternoon we completed an update to the Banner forms server that seems to have resolved our "Please Acknowledge" pop up message issues with the Banner Forms services. Thank you to everyone for your patience as we worked through a number of possible resolutions with our vendor support at SunGard. |
| 05/31/2011 | The Truman telephone voice mail system will be unavailable on Tuesday May 31st from 8 AM - 5 PM. The telephone voice mail system is being relocated to a different building. Voice mail services will be restored as soon as possible. Thank you. |
| 05/24/2011 | Blackboard was experiencing serious performance degradation due to resource issues with the database. These issues have been resolved and services restarted. Blackboard is available again and functioning normally. |
| 05/20/2011 | UPDATE - System Maintenance has been completed. Banner/TruView integration may have an active issue that will be resolved in the morning. All other services are online and functioning. |
| 05/19/2011 | Logins to TruView were very slow or failed between about 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on 5/19/2011. The problem is no longer occurring and we are looking into the cause. |
| 05/17/2011 | We are experiencing issues with Banner Forms in the form of a "Please Acknowledge" pop up message occuring often with a frequency to disrupt use of Banner Forms. We have opened a service request with the vendor and will resolve the issue as quickly as possible. |
