05/27/2011 | Banner Self-Service services through the TruView Banner links were unavailable this morning following maintenance on the server last evening. The two servers were experiencing communication issues with each other. Both TruView and the Banner Self-Service server were restarted and all services are now available. |

Thank you to everyone for your patience as we worked through a number of possible resolutions with our vendor support at SunGard. |
05/31/2011 | The Truman telephone voice mail system will be unavailable on Tuesday May 31st from 8 AM - 5 PM. The telephone voice mail system is being relocated to a different building. Voice mail services will be restored as soon as possible. Thank you. |
05/24/2011 | Blackboard was experiencing serious performance degradation due to resource issues with the database. These issues have been resolved and services restarted. Blackboard is available again and functioning normally. |

05/19/2011 | Logins to TruView were very slow or failed between about 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on 5/19/2011. The problem is no longer occurring and we are looking into the cause. |
05/17/2011 | We are experiencing issues with Banner Forms in the form of a "Please Acknowledge" pop up message occuring often with a frequency to disrupt use of Banner Forms. We have opened a service request with the vendor and will resolve the issue as quickly as possible. |
05/15/2011 | The Truman email server did not restart properly after automated updates at 6:47 this morning. It was manually restarted about an hour ago and queued messages are being delivered now. They should be completely delivered within the next hour or so. |
05/12/2011 | The damaged equipment in West Campus Suites has been replaced and the network is now fully online. |
05/12/2011 | Blackboard services were unavailable following continued issues related to a network domain controller change. Services were restored at approximately 8:25am. We will continue to investigate this issue. |
05/11/2011 | The University internet service provider, MORENet, had an outage that lasted from 4:40 to 4:50. Internet service has now been restored and MORENet technicians are looking into the cause of the issue. |
05/11/2011 | Blackboard services were unavailable for a short while this afternoon due to a network controller issue. Services were restored at approximately 2:55pm. |
05/09/2011 | Truman lost Internet access early Monday morning due to a fiber cut on the MOREnet state network. The fiber was cut between Kirksville and Maryville. MOREnet temporarily restored our Internet by routing us through Columbia. There will be a brief Internet outage later (perhaps in several days) when the fiber cut is repaired and MOREnet moves us back to our normal Kansas City network hub. |

MNA technicians will be performing maintenance on equipment in the Kansas City area on Friday, May 6th between 12:01 and 5am. This maintenance is expected to take less than 15 minutes. During this time the University internet connection may be unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your patience. |
