12/17/2012 | The EMS system will be upgraded on Thursday December 20. Following the Wednesday night backup, EMS will be down for upgrade. It is expected to have EMS and VirtualEMS (EMSPro) services functional by noon on December 20. All EMS Campus client users will be down until their PC EMS software is upgraded to the new client version. |
12/13/2012 | TruView was unavailable following an automatic restart of the database server at 5:00 a.m. Services were restored at about 7:20 a.m. |
12/13/2012 | Thursday (December 13th), during the regular scheduled ITS maintenance window, ITS will be performing maintenance on the McClain Hall and Barnett Hall networks.
Starting at 8:00PM there may be a short five minute network outage for select locations on the west side of McClain Hall. At approximately 10:00PM there will be a five minute outage for Barnett Hall on the second floor east side of the building. |
12/07/2012 | At approximately 7p.m. yesterday, the PML 203 Black and White printer experienced an unexpected outage. Students were still able to print to other printers in the PML libray. The PML 203 printer outage was fixed around 10a.m. today. We apologize for any inconvience and thank you for your patience. |
12/05/2012 | Barnett Hall is currently without electrical power. As a result information technology services to Barnett Hall may be unavailable. |
12/01/2012 | Both Wired and wireless network for areas near Barnett 2nd floor east were offline from Friday at 9:00pm-Saturday at 5:00pm. This was due to a UPS failure and was unplanned. |
12/03/2012 | TruView was restarted at about 1:40 p.m. on 12/3/2012 due to slow login times. All services appear to be back up by 1:45 p.m. |
11/29/2012 | ITS Services will update the WordPress Networks during our scheduled maintenance window at around 9:00 p.m. on 11/29/2012. The maintenance should take around 30 minutes and some sites may be unavailable briefly during that time. Sites affected include Faculty and Staff personal sites on sites.truman.edu, department blogs on blogs.truman.edu, many student organization sites, and the "Inside Truman" intranet at wp-internal.truman.edu. |
11/19/2012 | Blackboard services were restarted at approximately 5:30pm to try to resolve issues with email delivery. |
11/19/2012 | Physical Plant will be performing electrical maintenance work in West Campus Suites on Monday morning (November 19th). During this time networking services to the building maybe unavailable. |
11/20/2012 | ITS will be performing maintenance on the West Campus Suites and Missouri Hall network on Tuesday, November 20th, at 2:00AM. No service outage is expected at this time. |

11/15/2012 | At approximately 11.40 am today, the Student printing services campus wide experienced an unexpected outage. ITS identified the issue, corrected and service was restored at 12:05 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience. |

11/17/2012 | UPDATE -- This maintenance work is for Barnett Hall.
This Friday, November 16th at 6:00PM, ITS will be performing maintenance in Barnett Hall. Barnett Hall will have an extended outage for the middle and south part of the building, primarily on the 1st floor, starting at 6:00PM. During this time wired and wireless network, internet connectivity, phone service and cable TV will be unavailable. Full service will be restored by 6:00PM on Saturday. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. |
11/12/2012 | Network and internet access are not available in Kirk Memorial due to equipment failure. Technicians are currently replacing the failed equipment and service should be restored within an hour. |
11/07/2012 | There were issues logging into TruView at about 7:15 a.m. on 11/7/2012 due to higher load. After 2 restarts of the system, things seem to be working normally again at about 7:40 a.m. |
11/02/2012 | At 4:20pm today (1 Nov 2012) one of the servers that supports the Panopto course capture system was inadvertently powered down while preparing for power maintenance work in the library. The server was immediately rebooted and service was restored. Service interruption should have been less than five minutes and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. |
10/30/2012 | TruView was restarted at about 3:05 p.m. due to slow response times. All services were back up by about 3:10 p.m. |
10/23/2012 | The Banner ADMIN database issues have been resolved. All Banner ADMIN services are now available. |
