03/20/2013 A portion of the Pershing Arena network was unavailable from 10:30PM to 11:15PM due to equipment failure. Full service has now been restored.
03/19/2013 The issue with the network printing was resolved this morning at 8:35AM. We apologize for any inconvenience.
03/18/2013 We are experiencing issues with Address Verification in Banner and need to restart Banner Forms at 12:45. It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete the restart.
03/12/2013 The maintenance on Blackboard has been completed and all Blackboard servers are now available.
03/15/2013 This Thursday evening, March 14th, ITS will be performing maintenance on the Pickler Memorial Library network and updating client junk email policies.

The Library network maintenance will begin at 6:00PM and end by 12:00AM. During this time there will be localized network outages through the building and a smaller window during which all networking services will be unavailable.

The client junk e-mail policies will be updated at 8:00PM. These changes will allow additional targeted whitelisting of addresses.

03/08/2013 UPDATE: All phones for the Telephone Operator and IT Call Center are now operational. There was a failed system on the Vendor's side that caused the outage. All system have been restored.

We are currently experiencing an outage to our Telephone Operator and Call Center phones. The vendor has been contacted and we are working with them to get this resolved as soon as possible.

03/08/2013 The Blackboard issues have been resolved. We had a database issue with Blackboard support was able to help us track down.
03/04/2013 We are having a problem with a key library for one of the Banner forms modules. We need to restart Banner Forms to try to resolve this problem. Banner Forms will be unavailable at 5pm for a restart of forms services so we can put the new library in place. This will take approximately 15 minutes.
03/02/2013 Ruth Towne Museum lost all network services at approximately 11:45am lasting about a half hour. This was due to water leaking from the roof. Network services were restored at 12:15pm and equipment is currently protected from the water.
03/03/2013 Banner Upgrade scheduled for March 2nd and 3rd
The Banner system is scheduled for an upgrade this weekend. Banner and all Banner integrated, dependent services including the Banner links in TruView will be unavailable starting at 4am Saturday morning and will remain down until the completion of the upgrade. It is expected that the upgrade may take until Sunday evening.

An email notice will be sent out when the Banner system is available following completion of the upgrade.

Notes:
DegreeWorks services will be impacted by the Banner upgrade.
Blackboard services will not be impacted by the Banner upgrade and will be available as usual.

02/21/2013 The scheduled Blackberry Maintenance has been completed. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.
02/21/2013 Due to the weather conditions and lack of staff coverage, the IT Service Center/MML will be closing at 6PM. The Service Center will resume normal business hours on 2/22. Printing from PL312 will need to go to the PML Lobby; signs have been posted.
02/19/2013 ITS will be performing maintenance on the University Blackberry Enterprise system this Thursday, February 21st, beginning at 8:00PM. This maintenance will last 30 to 60 minutes and during this time Blackberry services will be unavailable.
02/14/2013 UPDATE: Maintenance cancelled (no longer necessary).
ORIGINAL MESSAGE: TruView will be restarted briefly at about 9:00 p.m. on 2/14/2013 for system maintenance. This falls during the weekly IT maintenance window.
02/14/2013 ITS will be performing maintenance on a disk system on Thursday, February 14th, at 8:00PM. No outage is expected and all systems should be available.
02/12/2013 UPDATE:The issue at Fonality has been corrected. There was a failure to the audio packets from the hosted servers. The phones have been tested and are fully operational. Issue was resolved at 3:00PM.

The Fonality phone system that is used for the IT Service Center is also being effected by the same outage. Fonality Engineers are working on the issue.

The Fonality phone system that runs the Truman Telephone Operator number 785-4000 is not able to receive calls. Engineers are working on the issue. It appears the issue started at approx. 12:30PM.

02/12/2013 TruView was unavailable from about 10:20 a.m. to about 10:40 a.m. on 2/12/2013. The system was responding slowly and then was restarted to fix the problem.
02/08/2013 While performing maintenance on the ah0was-1, the switch was accidentally rebooted. This caused a 5 minute network outage in Adair House.
02/07/2013 All Banner services are up and available following the hardware maintenance.
02/07/2013 MORENet will be performing maintenance on the primary University internet connection on February 7th. There may be brief internet outages in between midnight and 6:00AM.

01/24/2013 The University internet connection through MORENet experienced a connectivity issue from 1:15PM to 1:25PM. We have contacted MORENet and they are working to troubleshoot the issue.
01/24/2013 We are currently experiencing issues with Blackboard that are resulting in serious performance issues. We are working on this and hope to restore normal service as soon as possible.
01/24/2013 TruView started running very slowly at about 11:45 a.m. on 1/24/2013. After a failed attempted restart of just the portal software, the whole server had to be restarted. All services were restored at about 12:15 p.m.
01/17/2013 The Kirk Building network was unavailable from 8:00PM to 9:00PM due to equipment failure. The failed equipment has been replaced and full service is now available.
01/16/2013 Blackboard services are being restarted at 4:50pm due to performance issues. Services should be restored in 10 to 15 minutes. We will continue to monitor the system and try to track down the source of the performance issues.
