| 09/28/2013 | Friday night, September 27th, at 9:00PM technicians will be performing maintenance on a section of the Pickler Memorial Hall network. This maintenance is after library regularly scheduled hours. There will be an outage of network and internet via wired and wireless access for a section of the building on the west side of the second floor. Full service will be restored by 10:30PM. |
| 09/24/2013 | At 7:10am this morning, Blackboard services were restarted. Some Blackboard services became unavailable at approximately 5:30am. All services are now available. |
| 09/18/2013 | We are experiencing packetloss with our Internet connection through MORENet. This problem has been reported to MORENet technicians and they are working on a solution. |
| 08/23/2013 | There will be a short cable TV outage in Missouri Hall and Dobson Hall this afternoon to improve the picture quality in both buildings. The service outage for each building should be five minutes, up to fifteen minutes. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. |
| 08/20/2013 | Blackboard services failed at approximately 5:30am this morning and were restarted at 7:40am. We are still investigating the cause of the service disruption. |
| 08/18/2013 | Blackboard failed to restart properly following the backup. Services were manually restarted and it corrected the issue with Blackboard. |
| 08/13/2013 | Technicians will be performing maintenance on the Blanton Nason Brewer and Dobson Hall network this morning at 11:00AM. There may be a momentary loss of service at this time but any disruption will be less then five minutes. Thank you for your patience. |
| 08/12/2013 | The Centennial Hall network may be unavailable for a period of time this morning or early afternoon in order to activate newly installed fiber optic lines. |
| 08/09/2013 | Blackboard services are unavailable while we complete needed updates. The system was taken down at approximately 8am and it is expected to take no more than an hour to complete the updates. |

| 07/28/2013 | A majority of campus lost power at 9:00AM this evening. Non critical systems have already been shutdown and all IT systems (Banner, TruView, Blackboard, Email, etc) will be shutdown shortly if power is not restored.
Systems will be brought back online as soon as power is restored. |
| 07/26/2013 | This Thursday, during the regularly scheduled ITS maintenance window, technicians will be performing maintenance on the University e-mail system. No outage is expected and all mail services should be available. |
| 07/18/2013 | Phone service is currently unavailable to Centennial Hall and the Student Recreation center due to construction crews damaging a main phone line. An update will be posted on the ITS website when an estimated time to repair is available. |

| 07/03/2013 | ITS will be upgrading the University anti-spam solution, the Barracuda Spam Firewall, on Tuesday evening, July 2nd. All settings (white/black lists, etc) will be kept during the upgrade and no action will be required.
However, as part of the upgrade, any existing messages in the spam quarantine will no longer be visible. You will be still be able to deliver these messages to your inbox for up to the next two weeks (July 16th) by logging into barracuda-old.truman.edu in your web browser or clicking the link from the spam summary email you receive the morning of July 2nd. If you do not have any existing, relevant messages in your quarantine you can disregard this notice. Any new messages that are marked as spam will be stored in your normal quarantine. You will be able to access these messages as you normally do by clicking a link from a spam quarantine summary email or by visiting barracuda.truman.edu in your web browser. |

| 06/30/2013 | DegreeWorks migration to new server is complete. DegreeWorks services are up. We are still working to resolve an issue with off campus access to DegreeWorks.

| 07/03/2013 | Monday and Tuesday, July 1st and 2nd, the University cable TV vendor will be performing maintenance on the Cable TV system. There may be short isolated outages to one or more channels and short five minute outages in ResHalls as this work is completed.
When this maintenance is complete the cable system will have a re-vamped channel lineup and will offer HD channels and programming. |

| 06/14/2013 | Tonight at 8:00PM, during the regularly scheduled ITS maintenance window, technicians will be performing maintenance on portions of the Cable TV system and network systems in BT1209.
Cable TV service will be unavailable during this time in BT, WCS, CH, REC, SUB, OP, PML and VH. Cable TV service to these buildings will be restored by 12:00AM. On Friday morning, Cable TV service will be unavailable to HS, GH, BT, and PH. Services to these buildings will be restored by 4:00PM on Friday afternoon.
