UPDATE:

The DegreeWorks upgrade is complete. Services are available. This upgrade included the upgrade of servers to support the environment. This upgrade also includes a major change with the introduction of a new responsive user interface. 

If you have a bookmark for DegreeWorks and are having issues accessing DegreeWorks, please try accessing DegreeWorks from TruView. 

You can also try using the "friendly url":  https://degreeworks.truman.edu 

You may need to clear cache (you can also try an Incognito, Private Window,, etc. depending on your browser).  

You can contact the IT Service Center for assistance with clearing cache and/or updating your bookmark.

DegreeWorks Upgrade

The DegreeWorks system is scheduled for a major upgrade starting on Thursday, July 18th.  DegreeWorks will be unavailable starting at 8am Thursday morning, July 18th, and will remain down until the completion of the upgrade. 

Upon completion of the upgrade, a Service Note will be posted to announce services are available.

We are currently experiencing issues with TouchNet Bill+Payment for students and authorized users to review bills and make payments and the TouchNet administrative services. We have notified our vendor and will provide updates when we have more information.

**UPDATE** The changes made by our hosting vendor that made TruView unavailable have been rolled back and TruView is functioning properly.

 

TruView is currently down. We have reported this to our vendor. We will provide updates as they become available.

All Truman WordPress sites will be updated at approximately 8:00 p.m. during tonight's maintenance window. This includes all personal and organization sites using WordPress, blogs.truman.edu, wp-internal.truman.edu, tmn.truman.edu, library.truman.edu, and www.truman.edu.

***UPDATE*** - This maintenance has been completed. If you have any connectivity issues, please contact the ITSC.

*Original post* - IT services will be down for scheduled infrastructure maintenance on Sunday June 30th.  This will affect all IT services.  The work will begin Sunday morning and is expected to take at least several hours to complete.

Shibboleth Authentication services will be disrupted in the window from 9:30pm - 10:00pm as we complete a maintenance task and need to restart services following a configuration change. Only services using Shibboleth Authentication may have a brief services outage. These services include Brightspace, Banner Forms, and some web services. The outage should be approximately 5 minutes for the restart.

If you experience an error attempting to sign into a new service, please wait about 5 - 10 minutes and retry. If the error persists past 10pm, your browser likely has cached the error. Clear cache or try a private/incognito window, and retry.

***Update*** - This issue has been resolved. View.truman.edu and the 10Zig devices are available again. Thank you for being patient while we worked through this issue with our vendor.

Logging in to View.truman.edu and 10Zig devices is currently unavailable. Our license for the software has expired due to a halt in quoting services during the acquisition of the company that provides the licensing. We will continue working with our sales contact to complete the renewal as quickly as possible.

DegreeWorks maintenance at 5:30pm (today) Wed May 29th - services will be unavailable to complete a system restart. Expected service outage is approximately 30 minutes.

UPDATE: Maintenance work is complete - All Banner services are now available.

The Banner system is scheduled for a maintenance upgrade on Sunday, May 19th.  Banner and all Banner integrated, dependent services including the Banner links (Tools) in TruView will be unavailable starting at 7:30am Sunday morning, May 19th. If all goes well the outage should be about 1 hour. 

Upon completion of the upgrade, a Service Note will be posted to announce services are available.

 

Note: Brightspace services will not be impacted by the Banner upgrade and will be available as usual.

***LASTEST UPDATE*** - The drives are back online.  ITS will continue to monitor the drives, and post an update should they become offline again.

**NEW UPDATE** - The drives went offline again at 3:20 PM.  ITS IS working to get the drives back online, and will post an update when they are back online.

*UPDATE* - As of 10:45 AM the Fileserver Network Drives were back online.  ITS will continue monitoring them for any changes.  Again, we apologize for any inconveneince, and thank you for your contnued patience.

At approximately 10:15 am this morning, users reported an outage of the fileserver Network Drives (W:/, Y:/, etc).  ITS is looking into the issue, with no ETA for a resolution.  ITS will post an update when the issue is resolved.  We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.

DUO has posted an update that they have implemented a fix for the issues and they are now monitoring the results. We have confirmed that DUO Tokens are working again.

Our vendor for DUO services is investigating service failures for DUO Push. We believe DUO Tokens are also impacted. We have multiple reports of issues with both DUO Tokens and DUO Push.. We have an open support case and will continue to monitor their Service Status site as well. We'll provide an update when we have more information.

This morning, we received reports that some users couldn't connect to the TrumanSecureWireless network. This issue was resolved around noon today. If you still can't connect to the TrumanSecureWireless network, please forget the network on your device and try logging in again. If the issue persists, please call the IT Service Center at (660) 785-4544.

We received reports that Time Clock services were unavailable at approximately 7:40am this morning. Services were restored at approximately 8:10am.

The Banner system is scheduled for maintenance on Sunday, March 17th.  Banner and all Banner integrated, dependent services including the Banner links (Tools) in TruView will be unavailable starting at 4am Sunday morning, March 17th, and will remain down until the completion of the upgrade. Please plan for Banner services to be unavailable all day.  

 Upon completion of the upgrade, this Service Note will be updated. 

Note: Brightspace services will not be impacted by the Banner maintenance and will be available as usual.

*UPDATE* - As of 4 PM yesterday (Thursday), network drive services were restored.

*UPDATE* - As of 3:15 PM, the Drives are down again. We ap[ologize for this continuous inconvenience, but ITS is diligently working to resolve this issue.  And update will be posted when the drives are online again.

*UPDATE* - As of 10:10 AM, the W, Y and U Drives are offline again.  ITS is working on the issue, and will post an update when the are online again.

 

*UPDATE* - Services are currtnly online again, and the W, Y and U drives should be accessible.  We will keep you updated if that should change.  Again, we apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.

 

At approximately 9:07 AM this morning, ITS was made aware of an issue with the Truman File Server, which hosts the Faculty, Staff and Student W, Y and U Drives.  Currently, these drives are not accessible.  ITS is actively looking into the issue, and we will post an update when the services are back online.  We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.
