At approximately 9:00 PM tonight, ITS will be performing maintenance on the Faculty/Staff Print Server. During this time, all printing services for Faculty/Staff may be down until completed. This maintanance will take several hours, and an upate will be posted once completed. Again, this will ONLY affect printing for Faculty/Staff. ***Update*** - This maintenance has been completed, and the network drives are available to use again. We will be performing maintenance on the server where our network drives such as the W and Y drives reside beginning Sunday at 12:15 am. The drives may be inaccessible for several hours. An update will be posted once the maintenance has been completed. Note: We recommend downloading an offline copy of any documents stored on the network drives today that you may need on Monday. While not expected, we may need to revert the changes made during the maintenance, should drive access become unavailable on Monday. |

This maintenance has been completed, and the network drives are available again. We appreciate your patience. We will be performing maintenance on the server where our network drives such as the W and Y drives reside beginning Wednesday at 12:15 am. The drives may be inaccessible for several hours. An update will be posted once the maintenance has been completed. Note: We recommend downloading an offline copy of any documents stored on the network drives today that you may need tomorrow. While not expected, we may need to revert the changes made during the maintenance, should drive access become unavailable tomorrow.

***Update*** - Network Drives are currently available again. We've taken corrective action to try and prevent any further unplanned outages, but we will continue, as always, to monitor the drives closely. Thank you for your patience while we work through these issues. Network Drives began having issues around 9:40 am. We're currently looking into it and hope to have them restored in the next 30 minutes. |

12/3/2023 12:55 pm: The upgrade is now complete and all the services should be up and running. If you are having any issues, please contact the ITS helpdesk. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At 8:00 am Sunday, Dec 3, 2023, ITS will begin migrating to a new HAproxy server. This process is expected to last 2-4 hours and during this time all Truman WordPress sites (including all personal and organization sites using WordPress, blogs.truman.edu, wp-internal.truman.edu, tmn.truman.edu, library.truman.edu, and www.truman.edu) along with applications like process maker, csi3 and wireless devices will be affected. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience. |

11-16-23 8:04 pm - Network Drives have been stable for several hours now, but we are continuing to monitor them. 11-16-23 10:15 am - ITS is currently working to resolve issues with the network drives on campus following monthly updates. The drives were available until around 8:30 am today after the updates were applied last night. The drives were available again for a short time after this and are again unavailable. We will update the service note when we believe the drives are stable. |

**UPDATE** The Server maintenance scheduled for 8:00 PM tonight has been completed without any interruption of services. We apologize for any confusionor inconvneience, and thank you for your patience.
** Update rescheduled for Monday ** Starting at 8:00 PM on Monday, November 20th, ITS will be conducting maintenance on some of the Truman Network Servers. During this time, services for W Drive, Y Drive, Faculty/Staff and Student Printing, and other network resources may be down for a period of time. Not all services will be down at the same time, but may be down multiple times during the process. The maintenance should last 4-6 hours, and an update will be posted when completed. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patienace. |

As of 9:45 am today, ITS was made aware of an issue with the network drives (W Drive, Y Drive, etc) being unavailable. ITS is currently looking into the issue, with no estimated time to resolution. We're currently looking into the problem. 9-15-23 8:04 am - We believe this issue has been resolved, but will continue to monitor the services to verify the system updates don't cause further issues. 9-14-23 2:2 pm - We're continuing to work to resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience. 9-14-23 9:13 am - ITS is currently working to resolve issues with network resources on campus such as shared drives and view. The virtual desktop system was updated last night, we removed the locally installed Office 365 and installed the previous Microsoft Office 2016. Microsoft Access and Excel with add-ins are now available on the virtual desktops for all faculty, staff and students to use. https://view.truman.edu/ |

*** Update *** The Office 365 local logon issue on console PCs for faculty and staff has been resolved. Students cannot use the locally installed Office 365 in classrooms due to 365 licensing restrictions. We are continuing to look into this issue. Students can use the web version of Office 365 at https://www.office.com/ --- Previously --- Some people are intermittently having difficulty logging in to the Office 365 installed on classroom computers. Logging into the web version Office 365 is working fine. We are working with the vendor to resolve the problem as soon as possible. |

The Banner database server services are back up as is Banner and all Banner integrated services. --------------- The Banner database server is currently down. Banner and all Banner integrated services including many of the links/tools in TruView are currently unavailable. We are working to recover the system. |

***Update*** - This maintenance has been completed and the virtual environment is now available again. We will be performing maintenance on the virtual environment at 10:00 pm this evening. ***Update*** - Duo has stated they are considering this issue resolved, but they are currently monitoring their service for stability. Users should be able to authenticate to Microsoft services again. DUO has identified an issue causing authentication slowness and failures to load the Duo Prompt. This is causing our users to be unable to access services through M365. DUO is currently working toward a resolution. To view the current status of the DUO service, please visit https://status.duo.com/. An update will also be sent out once this issue has been resolved. |

***Update*** 8/18/23 8:18 am - Our provider is continuing to work on the phone system today. We're helping them correct a programming issue that's causing some users to have the incorrect extension or to be without service. This does not currently affect Polycom phones at this time. We're hopeful that they'll be able to correct these issues this morning. Thank you for your continued patience. ***Update*** 8/16/23 5:50 pm - Our provider has completed most of their maintenance. Unfortunately, we have around 24 users that are still not working and we're waiting for an update from their support on when this will be resolved. Our telephone provider is currently on site and needs to replace some of their equipment that has had intermittent issues recently. This will cause some users to be unreachable at their extension and those users will not be able to call out. This should impact a small number of analog extensions and services should be restored shortly. An update will be posted once this work has been completed. |

*UPDATE* - The Truman Fileserver had intermittent connectivity again yesterday afternoon after the previous service note update. The fileserver has been accessible and stable since 4:30 pm yesterday. Users may need to reboot their computers for the drives to be accessible again. *UPDATE* - The Truman Fileserver is accessible again as of 1:20 pm today. We're closely monitoring the server's accessibility to verify the issue doesn't occur again. *UPDATE* - As of 10:30 am today, the issue with accessing the drives on the Truman Fileserver has re-occurred. ITS is investigating the issue, with no estimated time for resolution. We will post an update when services have been restored. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

UPDATE: The Banner upgrade is complete and all Banner services are now available. ----------------------- Banner Upgrade The Banner system is scheduled for a major upgrade on Sunday, July 30th. Banner and all Banner integrated, dependent services including the Banner links (Tools) in TruView will be unavailable starting at 4am Sunday morning, July 30th, and will remain down until the completion of the upgrade. Please plan for Banner services to be unavailable all day. Upon completion of the upgrade, a Service Note will be posted to announce services are available.
Note: Blackboard and Brightspace services will not be impacted by the Banner upgrade and will be available as usual. |
