04/06/2016 | Tonight at 9:00PM the security certficates for the wireless network will be updated. You may be prompted to re-trust or verify the security certificate when connecting or reconnecting to the wireless network. Security certificates will be updated on two authentication servers, ts2.truman.edu, and ts3.truman.edu. Please contact the ITS Service Center if you have any questions or need assistance. |
04/06/2016 | Tonight after midnight the University internet connection may be temporarily unavailble. Any outage should be less then 90 seconds and traffic should fail over to a redundant conneciton. This outage is due to one of the University internet service providers (Bluebird Networks) peforming maintenance on their network equipment. |

04/01/2016 | Tonight at 8:00PM portions of the Pershing north network will be unavailble for maintenance as equipment is replaced. Some areas may be without network connectivity for 15 to 30 minutes. Additional network equipment will also installed in Ophelia Parrish but no service interuption is expected. |

03/24/2016 | All Truman WordPress sites will be updated at approximately 9:30 p.m. during tonight's maintenance window. Any downtime should be brief. This includes all personal and organization sites using WordPress, blogs.truman.edu, wp-internal.truman.edu, tmn.truman.edu, and www.truman.edu. |
03/27/2016 | The primary University internet connection will be unavailable for thirty minutes at 12:01AM on 3/26. During this time MORENet, the University internet service provider, will be performing maintenance on their systems. The University internet connection should fail over to a backup circuit to provide service during this window. |
03/18/2016 | The University internet connection was temporarily unavailable this afternoon due to an outage with our provider in Kansas City. Service is currently restored, and we are looking into the root cause. |
03/22/2016 | UPDATE: A small number of phone lines will be under maintenance again tonight starting at 7:00PM. Once again, no campus wide phone outage is expected but there may be short (thirty to sixty second) windows when phone service is unavailable on single, individual extensions. 03/16/2016 | The issues with the IT Service Center and Operator phones has been resolved. The IT Service Center phones and the Truman operator number are currently not working. The vendor has been notified and technicians are working on restoring services as soon as possible. 03/17/2016 | During Thursday's maintenance window a minor update for the CAS service will be deployed. The update will provide the CAS login page with an auto-focus that detects if a user name is filled in and will focus on the appropriate field (user name or password). On mobile devices the submit button has been made full width as well. Service should be inaccessible momentarily at 8:00 PM on Thursday, 3/17/2016. |
03/10/2016 | UPDATE - Maintenance has been pushed back until 11:00 PM. Again, sorry for the inconvenience. Tonight at approximately 10:00 PM, ITS will be performing maintenance on the new Exchange Servers that handle some of the Faculty/Staff email accounts. This maintenance may cause a some accounts to be unavailable for a period of up to 30 minutes. All work should be done by 10:30 PM. You may continue using your email during this time, but if you do experience any issues during the maintenance period tinight, please close out of your Truman email, and try again after 10:30 PM. I will post an update when the maintenance has been completed. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thnk you for your patience. |
03/03/2016 | Tonight starting at approximately 9:30 pm, there will be an outage of the Faculty/Staff email service, to allow for maintenance to be performed. During this time, Faculty/Staff email will be unavailable. All email that is recieved during this time will be delivered after the outage has completed. The anticipated duration of the outage is up to 30 minutes, but may be less. ITS recommends that you close out of all Truman email prior to this outage. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience and understanding. |
02/27/2016 | As of 5pm on Saturday, February 27th, all Banner and Banner integrated services are available and the upgrade is complete. ------ Banner Upgrade February 27th – 28th The Banner system is scheduled for an upgrade this weekend. Banner and all Banner integrated, dependent services including the Banner links in TruView will be unavailable starting at 4am Saturday morning, February 27th, and will remain down until the completion of the upgrade. It is expected that the upgrade may take until Sunday evening, February 28th. Note: Blackboard services will not be impacted by the Banner upgrade and will be available as usual. |
02/21/2016 | The WordPress server hosting sites.truman.edu, tmn.truman.edu, blogs.truman.edu and wp-internal.truman.edu will be restarted at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 21 to apply a configuration change. Any outage should be very brief. |

Sites impacted include truview.truman.edu, www.truman.edu, apps.truman.edu, cvc.truman.edu, tru.mn, apo.truman.edu, printbalance.truman.edu, and ssomanager.truman.edu. Any downtime should be brief. |
02/11/2016 | Due to an issue with the Student Print Server that is affecting Student Printing services in Centennial Hall, Student Printing will be unavailable in CH until tomorrow morning. ITS was made aware of an issue with printing in CH, and determined the cause. Students in CH are advised to print to the printers in the Pickler Library until the issue is resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience. |

DegreeWorks services will be unavailable tonight, Wednesday, February 4th, beginning at 8pm to upgrade the application. The upgrade is expected to take approximately one to two hours to complete.
