Banner Self-Service services will be unavailable starting at 9:00pm this evening during the schedule weekly maintenance window in order for technicians to run diagnostics on the server to determine the cause of this mornings failure and determine any repairs that may be needed to avoid future failures of this type. |
| 08/18/2016 | UPDATE - The work on the Student Print Server has been completed. All Student Printing services are available again. Thank you for your patience and consideration. Starting at 9:00 pm this evening, Student Printing sevices will temporarily unavailable, as ITS resolves an issue with the Student Print Server. During the outage, all Student Printing services will be affected campus-wide, and the outage should last no more than 30 minutes. An update will be posted when Student Printing services are back online. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience. |

UPDATE: The message waiting indicator issue has been resolved and the message waiting indicator lights will light up for any new messages left. Dialing *90 will not work to check voicemail. Instead dial 7550. Original message---------------------------------------------------------- The voice message waiting indicators and stutter dial tones are not working on the current phone system with At&T. Also, when dialing *90 you only get a busy tone when it should go to your voice mailbox. Voice messages can still be left and you can check for voice messages by dialing 7550 and logging into your voice mailbox. We are currently working on the issue and will update everyone once the issue is resolved. |

| 03/25/2016 | The Microsoft SQL Server was unavailable from about 11:58 to 12:10 p.m. on 5/25/2016. Many websites were unavialble during this time. A restart of the server fixed the problem. This is the second time this problem has occurred. We are looking into the issue further. |

| 05/20/2016 | Tonight at 8:00PM, during the regularly scheduled ITS maintenance window, the wireless network and sections of Pershing Hall network will be briefly unavailable. The wireless network will be unavailable momentarily for a majority of campus with small sections of campus having a 3 to 5 minute outage. The Pershing Hall network will be unavailable for fifteeen to thirty minutes. |
| 05/17/2016 | Blackboard Upgrade May 17th Starting at 8am ITS is scheduled to upgrade the Blackboard Learn course management system during May Interim. We will upgrade to the Blackboard 9.1 2015 Q4 (4th Quarter) release. This update brings primarily bug fixes to existing functionality with minimal change to the user experience along with some underlying required infrastructure updates. The upgrade will begin on Tuesday, May 17th, at 8am and is expected to take approximately four hours to complete. An email update will be sent out announcing the upgrade status upon completion. We appreciate your patience as we continue our work to maintain the Blackboard system. |

| 05/08/2016 | Update: the package deployment was initially unsuccessful and had to be re-deployed with some configuration changes. The service is now up. During Sunday's maintenance window, at 8:00 AM, an update will be processed. The update will: Remove the Truman image from the login page on small screens making it easier to enter credentials on mobile devices Remove the "Warn me before logging me into other sites" checkbox from the login screen Expand the size of the login button on medium and large screens Downtime should be momentary. |
