09/30/2016 | Tomorrow morning, September 30th, at 7:30AM there will be a short three to five minute interuption in network services in Barnett Hall as an uninterruptible power supply is installed. |
09/28/2016 | At aprroximately 9:00 am today, the Truman network on campus experienced a network-wide outage of DNS. All local and Internet resources were affected. ITS was made aware of the issue, and all services should be back onine as of 9:09 am. This outage was unexpected, and ITS will be investigating the casue of the outage. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thnk you for your patience and understanding. |

ITS was made aware of the issue, and all services should be back onine as of 12:35 PM. This outage was unexpected, and ITS will be investigating the casue of the outage. 09/20/2016 | Correction: The websites became unavailble about 11:50 a.m. (not 10:50 a.m.). The outage lasted about 10 minutes. Many Truman websites were briefly unavailable from about 10:50 a.m. to about 12:00 p.m. on 9/20/2016 due to a server issue. All services are back up and we are looking into the issue. |

09/16/2016 | Update - Maintenance on the new Exchange servers has been completed. All services remained online during the process, and all services are available. Thank you again for your time and understanding. Tonight at approximately 9:00 PM, ITS will be performing maintenance on the new Exchange servers. We do not anticipate any interruption of email service during the maintenance, and an update will be posted when the maintenance has completed. Thank you for your time and understanding. |

09/02/2016 | Banner Self-Service Banner services were down from 9pm to 10:25 as we completed diagnostics to determine the source of the server failure this morning. Services are now available. |
09/02/2016 | Banner Self-Service services were unavailable from approximately 6:55am to 9:05am due to a server failure. Banner Self-Service services are now available. Banner Self-Service services will be unavailable starting at 9:00pm this evening during the schedule weekly maintenance window in order for technicians to run diagnostics on the server to determine the cause of this mornings failure and determine any repairs that may be needed to avoid future failures of this type. |
08/18/2016 | UPDATE - The work on the Student Print Server has been completed. All Student Printing services are available again. Thank you for your patience and consideration. Starting at 9:00 pm this evening, Student Printing sevices will temporarily unavailable, as ITS resolves an issue with the Student Print Server. During the outage, all Student Printing services will be affected campus-wide, and the outage should last no more than 30 minutes. An update will be posted when Student Printing services are back online. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience. |

UPDATE: The message waiting indicator issue has been resolved and the message waiting indicator lights will light up for any new messages left. Dialing *90 will not work to check voicemail. Instead dial 7550. Original message---------------------------------------------------------- The voice message waiting indicators and stutter dial tones are not working on the current phone system with At&T. Also, when dialing *90 you only get a busy tone when it should go to your voice mailbox. Voice messages can still be left and you can check for voice messages by dialing 7550 and logging into your voice mailbox. We are currently working on the issue and will update everyone once the issue is resolved. |

03/25/2016 | The Microsoft SQL Server was unavailable from about 11:58 to 12:10 p.m. on 5/25/2016. Many websites were unavialble during this time. A restart of the server fixed the problem. This is the second time this problem has occurred. We are looking into the issue further. |
