Banner upgrade is complete - all Banner services should now be available.

The Banner system is scheduled for a major upgrade this Sunday. Banner and all Banner integrated, dependent services including the Banner links in TruView will be unavailable starting at 4am Sunday morning, June 30th, and will r-emain down until the completion of the upgrade. Please plan for Banner services to be unavailable until Sunday evening, June 30th.

A Service Note will be sent out when the Banner system is available following completion of the upgrade.

Note: Blackboard services will not be impacted by the Banner upgrade and will be available as usual.

***UPDATE*** - All channels have been restored. 

Channels 3, 4, and 6 are currently out due to equipment failure. Our provider has been notified and has shipped replacements. 

All Truman WordPress sites will be updated at approximately 8:00 p.m. during tonight's maintenance window. Any downtime should be brief. This includes all personal and organization sites using WordPress, blogs.truman.edu, wp-internal.truman.edu, tmn.truman.edu, and www.truman.edu.

At appoximately 9:00 PM tonight, ITS will be performing maintenance on several key servers.  These servers control the Truman.edu website, Faculty/Staff email, Faculty/Staff and Student network drives, and other various services.  These services will be down intermittently over several hours.  An update will be posted when work has completed, and all services are back online.

Tonight at 10:30PM the University campus wide wireless network will be intermittently unavailable for software upgrades. These upgrades should last for fifteen to sixty minutes after which full service will be restored. 

Intenet, network and VOIP phone service are not available at the Ruth Towne Museum due to equipment failure. Full service should be restored by midmorning.

On May 23rd, from 12:00AM to 5:00AM, the University's internet service provider will be performing maintenance on the primary internet connection. An outage is possible but not expected at this time.

At 2:50 pm, ITS was made aware of an issue with Faculty-Staff printing. This issue is being looked at, and an update will be posted when resolved.  We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.

*UPDATE* - As of 10:35 am today, Faculty-Staff Printing Services are back online and functioning.  Again, we apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.

ITS is aware of an issue on the Faculty-Staff Print Server that has services currently offline.  ITS is working on the issue, and will post an update when services are online again. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

**Update** The w: drive reconfiguration for RPDC has been completed and affected department notified.

We will be moving the RPDC folder from the Education Dept folder to the HSE folder for access by the the RPDC dept at 9:00 pm Thursday, May 16 during the regularly scheduled maintenance window.. This should take 1-2 hours to complete.

At 9:00 PM tomorrow night, ITS will be performing maintenance on the Truman Faculty-Staff Email servers.  During this time, all Faculty-Staff Email will be unavailable.  this maintenance should not last more than 1 hoyur, and may be done in less time.  An update will be posted when email is available again.  We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.

Websites and online programs running on IIS server were down around 11:00am and were restored at 11:20am.

*UPDATE* as of 12:40 pm today, Everyone Print Mobile Printing services are back online and fully functioning.  Again, we apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.

At approximately 12:30 pm today, ITS will be rebooting the Everyone Print Mobile Prinitng server to resolve an issue.  During this time, all printing from Android and iOS devices will not be available.  This will not affect normal printing from all Student and Truman-owned computers.  The reboot should take 10 minutes to complete, and full service will be restored after it completes.  We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.

TruView is experiencing intermittent service outages.  The outages are usually brief, only for a minute or two so if you cannot reach TruView please try again in a few minutes.  We are working on the problem and will restore normal service as soon as possible but this issue may take some time to resolve.  Thank you.

Portions of the Barnett Hall network were intermittently unavailable from ~ 3PM to 4:15PM.  Full service should now be available.

Phone audio issues which began around 4:30 PM have been resolved as of 8:00 PM.

All Banner services are up and operational (Registration was brought back up about 12:40pm). Since the system restart the system is operating normally. We have worked with support and have made an system configuration adjustment which we believe will help. We will continue to monitor the system.

Banner is currently having issues. We are working to identify and correct the source of the issue. We are researching a potential source of the issue in the registation functionality and Registration Self-Service is currently down as we research this problem.

We will provide an update when we have more information.
