03/08/2012 | TruView will be taken down for scheduled maintenance at approximately 10 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2012. This is scheduled during the weekly IT Maintenance Window. The work should take about 30 minutes. |
03/06/2012 | Most of the maintenance updates were successfully complete for Blackboard last night but we have one remaining, important piece that needs to be completed now. We are stopping Blackboard services at 2pm today to complete the remaining piece of the maintenance work. Services should be available within 30 minutes. |
03/07/2012 | ITS will be performing maintenance on the SRC network on Wednesday, March 7th from 8:00AM to 11:00AM. Network services will be unavailable to the building during this time. |
03/05/2012 | On Monday, March 5, Blackboard services will be unavailable from 5:00pm until approximately 10:00pm in order to complete some system maintenance on the Blackboard application server. |
03/06/2012 | ITS will be performing maintenance on networking equipment in Baldwin Hall on Tuesday afternoon starting at 1:30PM. No outage is expected during this time - if a network cabling change is needed then a network segment may be momentarily unavailable. |
03/08/2012 | ITS will be performing maintenance on the SUB network on the 6th from 7:30AM to 1:30PM. During this time cable TV will be offline campus wide and networking services in the SUB may be offline. ITS will also be performing maintenance in the SUB on the 7th and 8th from 2:30PM to 4:30PM. During this time users on the 1st and 2nd floor will not have networking services. |
03/03/2012 | The University internet connection will be unavailable from 11:00PM on Saturday night to 6:00AM Sunday morning. MORENet, the University's internet service provider, will be performing equipment upgrades during this time period. 02/29/2012 | Power has been restored as of 2:01PM and networking services in Barnett Hall, West Campus Suites, Campbell Apartments, Baldwin Delaney, University Press and University Farm are back online. |
02/27/2012 | Due to a residual issue related to the Banner upgrade this weekend, a quick Banner forms restart is required.
Banner Forms users need to log out of Banner forms by 12:45. Banner Forms will be restarted at that time. Any users that don’t get logged out will need to log back in following the restart – their active session will be dropped during the restart. The restart should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Note: The Banner database will not be down for this – just Banner forms. TruView and Banner related services through TruView will not be affected by this restart. |
02/24/2012 | The SQL database server will be taken down for maintenance at approximately 5:00 a.m. on Friday, February 24 during the regularly scheduled ITS Maintenance Window. Services affected include most Truman websites, TruView, Panopto, and others. The maintenance is expected to take 30 minutes to an hour. |
02/23/2012 | Maintenance work will be performed on the Baldwin Hall networking equipment this Thursday evening from 8:00PM-12:00AM during the regularly scheduled ITS maintenance window. During this time networking services will be offline to the north side of the building. |

02/21/2012 | Maintenance work will be performed on the Baldwin Hall networking equipment this Tuesday morning at 7:30AM. At this time a section of the Baldwin Hall wired network may be unavailable for 5 to 10 minutes. |
02/20/2012 | Networking services in sections of Barnett Hall were offline from 8:32AM to 8:39AM due to power failure. Power was restored and all services are back online. |
02/19/2012 | We have received a maintenance notice from MORENet, the University's Internet Service Provider.
They will be performing maintenance on many of their systems on Sunday, February 19th, from 12:00AM to 5:00AM. During this time period there will not be any email from off campus addresses delivered to Truman addresses. MORENet Notice: What this means to you - If you have one of the following hosted services through MOREnet, you will experience a temporary outage early Sunday morning, Feb. 19, until about 5 a.m. In the event of unforeseen problems, it may take longer. No Internet connections will be affected by this outage. Once technicians have everything back online, the changes will allow us to continue to grow our hosted services and meet our members' needs. 02/10/2012 | Microsoft PowerPoint has a screen flicker on some lab computers. We are investigating the problem and will correct it as soon as possible. |
02/10/2012 | Maintenance work will be performed on the Baldwin Hall networking equipment this Friday morning in between 7:30AM and 8:00AM. During this time a section of the Baldwin Hall wireless network may be unavailable for 5 to 15 minutes. Wired network connectivity will not be affected by this maintenance. |
02/08/2012 | Blackboard was experiencing logon issues from 8:30PM to 8:55PM. The Blackboard services were restarted and the the system should now be fully functional. |

01/30/2012 | At 12:45pm, the Banner Forms server will be unavailable. All Banner Forms users need to be logged out of Banner Forms by 12:45pm. The outage is expected to be approximate 15-20 minutes.
Users of Banner test environments need to log out of the test environment forms also. Notes: Banner itself will not be down and therefore integrated services will not be distrupted. This includes TruView (Banner Self-Service), TouchNet services, etc. |
