| 06/26/2014 | On Thursday evening, during the regularly scheduled ITS maintenance window, server SS1 will be down briefly for maintenance. The outage is expected to begin at approximately 9 PM and last less than an hour. Some lab software applications will be unavailable during this time. |

| 06/20/2014 | Thursday, June 19th, from 8:00PM to 9:00PM the University Virtual Desktop environment will be unavailable for maintenance. This is during the regularly scheduled ITS maintenance window.
The virtual desktop environment provides service to a large selection of the computer labs, computer classrooms, open student use computers and kiosks across campus. During this maintenance time, access and logon from these systems may not be available. |
| 06/13/2014 | UPDATE - Full service to McClain West network was restored at 10:55AM.
ORIGINAL SERVICE NOTE - The west side of McClain Hall is again experiencing a network outage due to equipment failure. Technicians are working on resolving the issue. |
| 06/12/2014 | The University Active Directory system, which controls all authentication and logons, will be under maintenance tonight from 8:00PM to 9:00PM. No outage or service disruption is expected during this window. |
| 06/05/2014 | All Truman WordPress sites will be updated at approximately 9:30 p.m. during tonight's maintenance window. Any downtime should be brief. This includes all personal and organizations sites using WordPress, blogs.truman.edu, wp-internal.truman.edu, and www.truman.edu. |

During this time the wireless service will be upgraded throughout the building and will now include coverage for a majority of the gymnasium spaces. |

| 05/20/2014 | Blackboard was down for scheduled maintenance to update supporting software required for Blackboard operation. This is not an upgrade of Blackboard itself and therefore no new features will result from this maintenance. This process should have taken no more than two hours to complete. However there were issues and support was called for assistance. Ultimately we had to back off the upgrade for now. It is rescheduled for 4:30pm today. Services were restored by 1pm. |
| 05/14/2014 | Electrical power is not available in portions of Campbell Apartments. Network and internet services to Campbell, Baldwin Delaney, Trades Building and Stokes Stadium will be unavailable until power is restored. |

| 04/25/2014 | A power outage in the General Services building occurred at 4:10PM this afternoon. The backup battery power for network services will shortly be exhausted. Network, internet and wireless service to the building will be unavailable until power is restored. |

| 03/20/2014 | There will be brief maintenance on www.truman.edu at about 9pm on 3/20/2014 as the site is moved to a new server. Any outage should be very short. |
| 03/19/2014 | The primary University Internet connection was running slowly starting at 12:10PM. The suspected root cause of this issue is a DDOS attack against a University system. We have requested MORENet block the attack at their core router. Additional campus level blocks were put in place at 12:30PM to alleviate the issue. |
