12/29/2011 Blackboard services are now available.
12/22/2011 The University Internet connection was unavailable from 1:40PM to 2:45PM this afternoon. The outage occurred due to an issue with MORENet, the Universities internet service provider. The issue has been corrected and full service has now been restored.
12/19/2011 Friday afternoon some Windows computers rebooted unexpectedly. We have determined the cause was an ATI video card driver failure probably triggered by a Microsoft software update. We have stopped the Microsoft software update and are investigating the ATI issue. We apologize for any inconvenience.
12/16/2011 A power outage at 10:38AM this morning affected network connectivity in McClain Hall, Student Union Building, Barnett Hall, Grim Hall, Magruder Hall, McKinney and West Campus Suites. Full network service was restored at 10:45AM.
12/02/2011 Technicians will be performing maintenance on the west side of West Campus Suites tomorrow morning from 7:30AM-9:30AM. There is a chance of a momentary network outage during this time. Any outage should not last more then five minutes. We appreciate your patience.
11/29/2011 The connection from TruView to Banner Self Service was unavailable from approximately 3:00 a.m. - 8:20 a.m. on 11/29/2011 due to some scheduled server restarts. All services have been restored.
11/22/2011 ITS will be performing maintenance on the Ophelia Parish network tonight after 5:00PM. This maintenance work is expected to last two to three hours and during this time network and internet access will be down for the building.

Internet access for the entire University will be unavailable for one to three minutes at the completion of the Ophelia Parish maintenance.

Finally, during this time there will also be a short network outage of up to five minutes in Magruder Hall. Thank you for your patience.

11/16/2011 At approximately 7:50 PM tonight, the PL203 LaserJet (Located in the IT Service Center) experienced a hardware failure, and was not functioning. Until the issue is resolved, all printer jobs from both Faculty/Staff and Students to the PL203 LaserJet (Duplex as well)will be temporarily print out on the Pickler Lobby LaserJet. (Located on the 1st floor of the Pickler Library)

ITS is aware of this issue, and are working towards resolving it.

11/14/2011 Blackboard was experiencing some performance issues. Services were restarted and Blackboard is working correctly now.
11/02/2011 An issue occurred with the primary University fileserver that necessitated a restart. Full service should be restored in a few minutes.
11/02/2011 Fair Apartment network was briefly unavailable due to electrical work from 11:00AM to 11:15AM. Full service has now been restored.
11/02/2011 The faculty/staff printing server was unavailable from 4:30AM to 8:20 due to a system failure. Full printing service has now been restored. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
11/01/2011 A power issue took a segment of the Barnett Hall network offline at 10:40AM. Full service has now been restored.
10/27/2011 The University internet connection was unavailable from 12:05AM to 12:30AM due to an issue with MORENet, the state network internet provider, and the fiber optic connection administered by Missouri Network Alliance. We apologize for the inconvenience.
10/27/2011 A power outage affected networking services in Ophelia Parish. Networking services were unavailable from 11:25AM to 11:30AM. Full service has now been restored.
10/24/2011 Full network service has been restored in West Campus Suites.
10/24/2011 Full network service has been restored in Barnett Hall.
10/22/2011 The Adair Building network will be offline for maintenance on Friday, October 21st, starting at 5:00PM. Full service will be restored by 9:00PM.
10/17/2011 The server which powers blogs.truman.edu and other Wordpress powered sites was unavailable from about 6:00 a.m. until 6:35 a.m. on Monday, October 17 due to a system problem. All services have been restored..
10/13/2011 The upgrade of survey.truman.edu is finished and the system is functioning normally. Users should experience an increase in the speed and reliability of the software as a result of this upgrade.
10/13/2011 IT Services will be upgrading survey.truman.edu starting at around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2011. The upgrade is expected to last a few hours, but the exact time schedule is not known at this time.

This upgrade has been scheduled during the Fall Midterm break when classes are not in session.

10/14/2011 On Thursday, October 13th, ITS will be performing network maintenance on the southern side of campus.

Starting at 6:00PM the Health Science building network will be offline for maintenance until 10:00PM.

During this same 6PM to 10PM window the following buildings will have momentary service outages of up to thirty minutes:

- Barnett Hall
- General Services
- Counseling Center
- Adair House
- Grim Hall
- Kirk Building

An updated service note will be posted when all maintenance tasks are completed.

10/07/2011 TruView was running slow at about 9:40 a.m. on 10/7/2011. IT Staff are attempting to restart the system and restore service. The system is currently down.

UPDATE 9:58 A.M. TruView is now back up.

10/06/2011 The Baldwin Delaney network will be offline for maintenance this evening starting at 7:00PM. Full service will be restored by 9:00PM.
10/05/2011 Networking services have been restored to Baldwin Delaney. An issue with the telephone line that supplies data service to the building was resolved.
