Banner Admin Pages/Forms services will be unavailable starting at 9pm on Thursday, August 29th, for maintenance. Service disruption should be for approximately 30 minutes. ITS was made aware of an issue with the main SQL database server. Several resources that utilize the SQL server are not available. ITS is aware of the issue, and is working on a resolution. *** Update *** Fileserver services have been restored, network drives are available. At approximately 9 am this morning, users reported an outage of the fileserver Network Drives (W:/, Y:/, etc). **Update*** - The maintenance has been completed and these resources are available again. At approximately 10:30 PM tonight, ITS will be performing maintenance on the Truman SQL Server, and Truman File Server. This will affect access to the FAC/STAFF and Student W and Y Drives, and the Truman websites. During this time, connectivity to these servers may be sporadically down. ITS is expecting a downtime of 2 hours, but maintenance may be completed before then. An update will be posted when these servers are online again, and maintenance has been completed. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience. |

UPDATE: Banner and Banner integrated services are now available ------------------- Banner Upgrade The Banner system is scheduled for a data upgrade on Sunday, August 11th . Banner and all Banner integrated, dependent services including the Banner links (Tools) in TruView will be unavailable starting at 5:00am Sunday morning, August 11th. Please plan on the system being available much of the day. Upon completion of the upgrade, a Service Note will be posted to announce services are available. Note: Brightspace services will not be impacted by the Banner upgrade and will be available as usual.

UPDATE: The DegreeWorks upgrade is complete. Services are available. This upgrade included the upgrade of servers to support the environment. This upgrade also includes a major change with the introduction of a new responsive user interface. If you have a bookmark for DegreeWorks and are having issues accessing DegreeWorks, please try accessing DegreeWorks from TruView. You can also try using the "friendly url": https://degreeworks.truman.edu You may need to clear cache (you can also try an Incognito, Private Window,, etc. depending on your browser). You can contact the IT Service Center for assistance with clearing cache and/or updating your bookmark. ------------------------- DegreeWorks Upgrade The DegreeWorks system is scheduled for a major upgrade starting on Thursday, July 18th. DegreeWorks will be unavailable starting at 8am Thursday morning, July 18th, and will remain down until the completion of the upgrade. We are currently experiencing issues with TouchNet Bill+Payment for students and authorized users to review bills and make payments and the TouchNet administrative services. We have notified our vendor and will provide updates when we have more information. |

**UPDATE** The changes made by our hosting vendor that made TruView unavailable have been rolled back and TruView is functioning properly.

Only services using Shibboleth Authentication may have a brief services outage. These services include Brightspace, Banner Forms, and some web services. The outage should be approximately 5 minutes for the restart. If you experience an error attempting to sign into a new service, please wait about 5 - 10 minutes and retry. ***Update*** - This issue has been resolved. View.truman.edu and the 10Zig devices are available again. Thank you for being patient while we worked through this issue with our vendor. Logging in to View.truman.edu and 10Zig devices is currently unavailable. Our license for the software has expired due to a halt in quoting services during the acquisition of the company that provides the licensing. We will continue working with our sales contact to complete the renewal as quickly as possible. |

If all goes well the outage should be about 1 hour. Upon completion of the upgrade, a Service Note will be posted to announce services are available.
