More 5Ghz Wireless Upgrades – All of the wireless access points in the academic buildings were upgraded over the summer (over 160 units were replaced). These changes now enable access to the wireless system at over twice the speed of the older system.

Application and Process Improvements – The summer is traditionally a time when many applications are updated, and this summer was no exception. Major upgrades were completed to Banner, Blackboard, Perimeter Access, the TruView student user interface, and a host of other system changes.  Several new applications were implemented as well – these systems will provide an improved experience for individuals applying to work at Truman, as well as for our alumni and those wishing to donate to Truman.

Video Security System – Once completed, over 70 cameras placed strategically on the campus grounds will provide more security for our campus facilities. ITS assisted with the installation, setup, and configuration of the cameras and video server.
