Getting Help and Reporting Issues – The IT Service Center is Your First Point of Contact

August 18, 2021

Here’s how to contact the IT Service Center with any technology issue:

  • The IT Service Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Library in room 203.  The Service Center is normally your first call if you are having technical difficulties or would like to request other technology services.  You can walk-in, call-in (x4544), or submit an online work request.
  • As a reminder, last Fall we changed our response to x4911 calls (the classroom emergency number).  Calls for help are handled remotely by the Service Center staff as a first course of action.  If they are unable to resolve the issue, a priority ticket will be created and a technician will examine the problem as soon as possible.
  • Continued Remote Support – You may have noticed that some ITS staff have been able to remotely connect to systems to help resolve issues or install software.  We will continue to provide remote support whenever possible as it can result in faster service and more efficiency for all involved.
