At Truman ITS we offer you the opportunity to save money and time when seeking new software for your computer. Whether you are looking to purchase one package for one workstation or outfitting an entire lab, we can help you with finding the right software at the best price.

As a member of the Truman community (including faculty, staff and students) you are eligible for Academic pricing on many of the most popular programs such as Microsoft Office, Macromedia Dreamweaver, and Adobe Acrobat.

If you are purchasing for a Truman-owned computer, we may be able to help you even more. Through our volume purchasing power, we have the ability to get pricing that is sometimes better than the academic price on many software titles.

We also have entered into multiple agreements with software manufacturers to allow the use of some software titles across the entire campus with no extra purchase involved. Many of the programs that come with our standard campus software images are covered under these agreements. In some cases we have also purchased 'site licenses' or licenses that cover our entire campus not just individual computers.
