Network Printer Connection : Mac OS X PAS Client
Equitrac Express is the software used by IT Services to track printing. Following these instructions will allow you to print to laser printers in the Truman computer labs, but you will also be charged for each printout. Usually the charges are 10¢ for black and white prints and 50¢ for color prints.
Please Note: The current Equitrac client does not support Leopard. An updated Equitrac client will not be available until late May. If you upgrade your system to Leopard you will not be able to print from your Leopard system to the printers in the Truman computer labs.
Download The client installer from the ITS web site. It should expand into an icon called Equitrac Express Mac OS 10. Double-click this icon to run the PAS Mac Client Installer OS 10 and install the software; you will then be prompted to restart your computer. Note that you will need an administrator account on your machine.
After your computer has booted, run the Installer again, this time in the popup menu in the top left, pick EE Printing Admin.
Locate and launch the Equitrac Printer Utility X. From the File menu, select New Printer... and place "tp1.truman.edu" in the DRE Address field.
Click Get Printers.
The "printer" pop-up menu shows all the printers available. Choose the printer you wish to use, and click OK.
Next, locate the Equitrac Login Controller in /Library/Printer/Equitrac/
Launch it, then choose Quit from the Equitrac Login Controller.
When you attempt to Print, the Equitrac Login Controller will launch and prompt you for your username and password.
Use your network/email password.
Remember, your electronic printing account is charged for printing to these printers. You can add more money at any time to your electronic printing account at the cashiers' window in McClain Hall or online.

Login with your student network account and don't forget to logout when done.
When logging off the computer, you will need to manually quit the Equitrac Login Controller. Click its icon in the dock and choose Quit Equitrac Controller from the Equitrac Login Controller menu.
