Network Disruptions Policy

As specified in the Truman State University Computer Use Policy any computer use that causes unauthorized network disruption, system failure, or data corruption on the Truman computer network is unacceptable.

Computers meeting any of the following criteria will be considered in violation.

• Any computer generating over 1,000 network flows per minute.
  
  ITS response:  The system will be restricted to a maximum of 300 flows per minute.
   

• Any computer generating over 250,000 network packets per 24 hours.
  
  ITS response:  The system will be disconnected from the campus network.
