Objectives
- Increase number of activities that students, faculty and staff
can perform in a self-service manner.
- Increase number of administrative tasks that students, faculty
and staff can accomplish via the we.
- Provide faster response to student, faculty and staff needs.
- Reduce the number of lines that students must stand in
throughout their enrollment at the University.
- Increase accuracy of information and decrease redundancy of
information.
- Provide faster, more efficient methods of sharing information.
- Improve communication with faculty, staff and students.
- Improve process workflows.
- Reduce the amount of paperwork being used to accomplish
administrative tasks.
- Accommodate better communication with external constituencies
(e.g., vendors, suppliers, community
- colleges, Kirksville community, alumni).
- Provide a method for selective decentralized data access.
- Facilitate faculty-student interaction.
- Facilitate interoffice communication and coordination.
- Increase collection, storage, usability, and retrieval of
institutional information for analysis.
